With deep sadness, Ted wrote to inform us that his cousin, Joe Montemayor (HS50,AB54), died on July 30. According to Joe's wife Julie, Joe went out for a hamburger but failed to come back. He was found in his car not breathing, with the motor still running, the gear shift in Drive but with his foot on the brakes.

On August 2, a funeral mass was held for Joe at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels in Los Angeles, California.
